Alcoholic Beverages
In the United States, alcoholic beverages are defined under the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). According to 27 CFR 1.10:
Alcoholic beverages refer to any beverage containing 0.5% or more of alcohol by volume. This includes a wide range of products such as wine, beer, distilled spirits, and liquors. The term covers any form of beverage where alcohol is the active ingredient.
